Indonesia International (Bio)Medical Students’ Congress (INAMSC) is the biggest event for biomedical students in Indonesia held annually by Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia. INAMSC is the largest annual international biomedical students’ congress in Indonesia.
INAMSC provides unique opportunities for biomedical students to meet each other, to share their knowledge and to broaden their network. In April 2016, the fourth INAMSC was held and we would like to thank all students which came from all across the globe.
The main goal of this project has been ever since to provide students with the feeling that their work is not only given proper value, but also recognition from the scientific world, thus motivating them to do research work.
Besides the scientific aspect, there is also a social programme which includes a guided visit to the historic sights of Porto city and other places of touristic interest. The participants are given an opportunity to taste the traditional Portuguese cuisine and there is a night reserved for a concert of Tunas Académicas da Faculdade de Medicina as well as Grupo de Fados in order to promote Fado, which from recently is considered an Intangible Cultural Heritage. Finally, the meeting comes to an end with a farewell dinner, at which prizes for best research works are given to students.
The Young Scientists Council (YSC) was founded in 2006-2007 in Yerevan State Medical University. The major goal of the Council is to provide, support and stimulate efficient scientific, creative and educational process of undergraduates, postgraduates, residents and interns.
Since its inception, the YSC has brought forward a number of objectives going as follows:
Our goal is to raise awareness of the scientific innovations of the present so that medical students can make the best out of their knowledge in the future. What's more, we want them to get involved in research works that will, in the long run, reveal something hitherto unknown, changing worldwide perceptions of Science.
In4Med is a scientific and medical congress organized by Coimbra's Medical Students' Association (NEM/AAC), that will be held at the Congress Center of Coimbra’s University Hospitals (CHUC), in Coimbra, Portugal, from 24th to 26th of February 2017.
Considered to be Portugal’s best general hospital in 2014, it is, for us, nothing more than an extension of the Faculty of Medicine, since our entire practical training is done here. Thus, having In4Med taking place in CHUC has the main goal of bringing the students closer to the hospital, while promoting this institution as a University Hospital.
As an ambitious project designed by students for students, it intends to unveil the bright future ahead of them. By bringing some of the most brilliant minds of our century to their hometown, our devoted team aims to promote a more personal and enriched formation to our colleagues and, with that, hopefully change lives.
Our biennial congress is one of the most important and most extensive activities of our club. IMSRC aims to bring medical students from all around the world in order to present their research, share their experiences, learn about most current developments, interact with other students and enjoy the beauty of Istanbul. Throughout the conference, delegates will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss their work and gain different aspects on a variety of medical subjects. Hundreds of participants from all over the world improve their skills by participating in workshops. We also award students to encourage them.
VI.IMSRC will be held from May 19 to May 21 2017 at the Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty by the Association of Student Researchers, who are customary constituters of the Organising committee.
