if you have ever harboured an interest in emergency medicine, this next workshop is perfect for you!
“Trauma step by StEPP” is a workshop prepared by the StEPP Association. It aims to provide the participants with skills necessary for the initial assessment and pre-hospital treatment of severely injured trauma patients.
The workshop will begin with a simulation scenario of a car crash, performed by StEPP instructors as an emergency team. They will evaluate and extricate the patient from the vehicle and treat the patient’s life-threatening injuries in real time using trauma algorithm. Afterward, participants, divided into four groups, will be given the chance to practice the trauma algorithm and emergency rescue and rapid extrication from the vehicle techniques.
