WORKSHOP - "To shock or not to shock?" - Cardiac Arrest Management

Scientific program 10.02.2024.

Dear CROSS colleagues,

As many of you are aware, our medical careers often commence within emergency medical service, where possessing essential skills and knowledge is crucial to effectively aiding patients. Among the most important life threatining interventions is cardiac arrest.

With that said, we are excited to present a workshop organised by the Students Section for Cardiology and StEPP Association designed to equip you with vital skills for not only early recognition of heart rythms and cardiac arrest, but also performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and delivering safe defibrillation all while using new and modern defibrillators and mannequins, giving you the most realistic feeling of a legitimate patient. After this workshop, you will be able to read and recognize heart rhythms on the monitor along with providing safe defibrillation and advanced life support measures.

Don't miss out on this invaluable opportunity to enhance your emergency medical skills. Join us and take a significant step toward becoming a proficient medical professional in emergency care.

Your CROSS Team
