Teamork plays a revolutionary role in the interdisciplinary approach in treating cancer patients and improving their outcome. Among the most aggressive tumors are brain tumors, which remain challenging to treat with an overall poor prognosis.
Join us in the workshop organised by the Student Section of Oncology and Immunology and the Student Section of Neurobiology, who take a case-based approach in order to introduce you to the world of transcriptome analysis. Prepare to familiarize yourself with your patients and their illnesses, starting from a comprehensive examination and a thorough review of the patient's medical history, all the way to classifying the brain tumor based on its gene expression, mutations, and variant determinations.
Through hands-on experience in analyzing brain cancer datasets, attendees will interpret and discuss computational outcomes, evaluating the role of such analysis in improving cancer treatment and patient care.
