we proudly present the next in line of our amazing lectures at this year’s summit, which will be given by Tihana Jendričko, MD, PhD.
She will be presenting on the topic of „Psychotherapy as a stress modulator – resilience and integration“. The phenomenon of "stress inoculation" is a process during which a person develops an adaptive response to mild or moderate stressors and better resilience to the negative effects of future stressors, meaning that coping with stress can represent an adaptive factor of resilience.
Associate Professor Tihana Jendričko is a psychiatrist, with subspecialty in psychotherapy - psychodramatic therapeutic, integrative therapeutic, and supervisor and educator, as well as an ECP.
She is the Head of the Department of Psychotherapy at the University Psychiatric Hospital Vrapče.
She is also an Associate professor in the Study of social work at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. She holds the course Psychotherapy as part of the Postgraduate Specialist Study in Psychiatry at the School of Medicine of the Croatian Catholic University in Zagreb and lectures in the course of Cognitive-behavioral, integrative and systemic psychotherapy as part of the postgraduate specialist study in Psychiatry at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb.
She participates in conducting education in psychodrama psychotherapy and she is a member of the Educational Board of the Center for Psychodrama.
She is the author and co-author of several professional and scientific works, she participated in the implementation of several professional and scientific researches and projects. She is an active member of several domestic and foreign professional associations and is the President of the Croatian Psychiatric Association.
